How to set contents of amr.data_log ?

How do we control what goes into the "data log"?

I am asking about the log file whose name is set by amr.data_log. The documentation tells me that "if this parameter is set, the data log will be enabled and this is the log file name."

I would like to know what actually goes into this "data log" and how we might go about changing that.

I think it's completely up to yo what goes into the data log. On the I/O process, you call Amr::DataLog(int) to get std::fstream& and the writing is up to you.
