Replace Mandrill

Since Mandrill decided they are too good for customers, we should move to another customer friendly service.

Current suggestion i keep seeing is mailgun.

Mailgun would have my humble vote too. The're easy to use have have a free plan with 10k monthly emails... I don't expect amsterdamphp to surpass that. Should be an easy smtp configuration replacement for the production environment..
