Releases: Azure/azure-mcp
0.4.0
This version adds support for authenticating with the Azure account used to log into VS Code and listing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, includes AOT improvements to make the overall size of the Azure MCP executable smaller, and removes support for the SSE (Server-Sent Events) transport as it is no longer part of the MCP specification. It also increases install reliability.
Note: There is a known issue where some users can be met with an error message similar to the following:
Error: ToolException('The tool <azmcp-tool-name> was not found')
When asking the agent to perform a given task. This is likely related to an issue with initial tool listing. We're working on a solution. In the meantime, a viable workaround is to call the same tool again after the initial failed call.
📃 Refer to the CHANGELOG for a more detailed rundown of all the changes included in this and previous versions.
