JC3248W535 screen freezes (possibly with bluetooth MIDI)

Hi,

I am using JC3248W535 beta 5.
If you turn on the power with the Bluetooth controller (=Chocolate Plus) at about the same time, sometimes only about 10% of the right side of the screen is updated, as shown in the attached photo, and the rest of the screen is frozen as is. It happens randomely.

This doesn't seem to happen unless you use a Bluetooth controller. And it doesn't happen in 4.3B either.

By the way, this beta version is really great. I'm enjoying it everyday.

Hi. Thanks for the report. I've been having some troubles in this area (display freezes) but I thought the last changes done had fixed it (mine ran for 24 hours without any issues.)

So you switch on power to the JC32 and the Chocolate plus at the same time?

I'm currently using V2.0.2.2 Beta 5. When the JC32 is turned on alone, it works fine, but when I turn on the JC32 and Chocolate simultaneously or at roughly the same time, the problem usually occurs, and it doesn't take long for the problem to occur.

My impression is that the problem is more likely to occur when I frequently use the internal footswitch and Bluetooth switch simultaneously. I change the patch using the internal switch, and I change each reverb or delay using chocolate, so I often use them almost simultaneously.

Hi. I believe I've found the root cause.
For anyone interested, the display driver on this board uses QSPI to transfer data, using DMA. If the transmit buffer is not in DMA capable ram already (e.g. its in PSRAM) then the SPI driver has to allocate DMA capable memory and copy the data over before sending.
In this case, I had my buffers in PSRAM and frequent updates to the screen caused it to run out of DMA capable memory.

I've changed it now to use a single DMA capable transfer buffer.

Please try with this version. For me its working well.
