One Chocolat Plus M‑VAVE pedal for two ToneX One units

Thank you for your project — it really provides great possibilities for the ToneX One.
Is it possible to use a single Chocolat Plus M‑VAVE pedal to change presets on two ToneX One units? The Chocolat Plus M‑VAVE has Bluetooth and a MIDI output.

I’m using two ToneX units with different cabs but the same amp. I’m looking for a way to switch both with one pedal. I switch the first ToneX using Bluetooth Client mode with an ESP32‑S3 board.

Is it possible to receive a MIDI signal through a MIDI cable and then forward it to the second ToneX One?
Is it possible to add MIDI input support to the ESP32‑S3 board? This would expand the possibilities for connecting other MIDI controllers.

Hi. You can certainly add Midi input to the ESP32-S3. Refer to the hardware pages for full detail. For example:

The Waveshare 4.3B is a bit more tricky and needs another board, but the rest are pretty easy.
You could then send the same Midi command to 2 controllers, or use both Bluetooth and wired midi on the Choc at the same time.
