@katjost For the Data Sources table, I made a temporary fix just to address to somewhat address resize issue. It won't resize or scroll as expected, but it and the content above is set to be fixed at around 450px width so it won't shrink any further than that.

I can look at it more when I'm back from vacation. I'm not sure what the first issue is. If you don't mind providing a snip or two I'll also take a look at that when I'm back.
