Confusion with Time Format settings

Gonna preface this by thanking the contributers for all the hard work put into this amazing launcher :)

To put it simply, I find the Time Format setting to be confusing. It is not clear whether On or Off means 12/24 hour clock. Furthermore, at least in my case (and I see others experiencing similar issues in the Closed Issues page), toggling the Time Format option seems to do nothing (unless you change locales)

Is it possible to rename 'On and Off' to '12 hour and 24 hour' instead to distinguish the difference better (and in this case, ignore locales)? Or is there a way to make following system preferences more reliable (e.g. My phone is set to 24 hour clock system-wide but it seems that mLauncher does not follow that).
