[Enhancement] hide archived applications from applist

Feature description

I tend to use search option in app list almost all the time. But I have bunch of applications which are archived. Please add an option to hide archived application. Like how we currently have an option to list hidden application, along side that please add another list for archived application. This would remove additional search result and will make finding the right application faster

Additional information

work around for this is to manually move archived applications to hidden apps

Thank you for the suggestion! We understand that hiding archived apps in the app list could make searching faster. However, unfortunately, Android does not provide a reliable way to distinguish “user-archived” apps from core system or Google apps. The available system API (getArchivedPackage()) also flags many essential apps as archived, which would result in important apps being hidden unintentionally.

Because of this limitation, we cannot safely implement a “hide archived apps” option without risking that system or Google apps disappear from the list. For now, the best way to control which apps are hidden is through the existing hidden apps feature, which is fully reliable and under user control.

We’ll keep this limitation in mind for future updates if Android provides a safer API.
