  • Some types of damage (e.g., bullets, slashing) inflict wounds and/or bleeding
  • Wounds lower max health (slowly)
  • Bleeding causes health loss
  • Bleeding stops over time
  • Individual wounds are tracked
    • Bleeding is tied to wounds
    • Closing a wound stops it bleeding
    • Larger wounds take more time to stop bleeding (e.g., slashes)
    • Some locations bleed more? (e.g., torso, thighs)
    • Some locations inflict more damage to max health? (e.g., torso, head)

Items

Canteen

  • Heals instantly (as it already does)
  • Restores health, but doesn't fix wounds
    • Maybe a small chance to fix some wounding?

Stimpack

  • Restores health over time
  • Increases stamina regen speed
  • Makes bleeding stop faster? Or decreases bleed rate?
  • Increases regen speed for medikit?

Medikit

  • Fixes wounds
  • Stops bleeding
  • Restores health over time (slower than stimpack)

Armour

  • Having armour on decreases bleed rate slightly?
  • Nanosuit increases the rate at which bleeding stops
