Is there a way to configure a trigger?

I would like to configure a trigger based on an indicator (or several) to pause or resume trading based on certain market conditions.

For example, if the market is above the EMA200, Octobot executes the configured strategy; however, if the market is below the EMA200, Octobot pauses.

In other words, I want to configure a trigger to pause Octobot based on certain market conditions, so as not to "mess up" the active strategy.

Is it currently possible to activate a trigger in Octobot?

Hey @virtuacool! Thanks for sharing this feature suggestion. For now, it’s not possible. Some automations can be configured from the “Automations” tab, but pausing or resuming trading isn’t supported yet. We’ve noted your request.

Yes!

It worked perfectly in "Automations".

If you implement it, don't forget the condition to reactivate the trade.

I saw that there are several "Actions", but none to start the trade again.

In the case of the EMA, for example, the value of the respective EMA (50, 99, 200) could be optional, and when it crosses downwards, a "StopTrading" would be triggered, however, when it crosses upwards, a "StartTrading" would be triggered.

This would be interesting for other evaluators, such as SuperTrendEvaluator (Bull=StartTrade Bear=StopTrade) or ADXMomentumEvaluator (ADX>20=StartTrade ADX<20=StopTrade) (Examples, to take advantage of those that exist).
