Arm64EC/Arm64 construction of FEX to collaborate with Wine

I have successfully compiled Arm64EC version of FEX and wine while they worked well together.
But I wonder if Arm64EC is necessary for collaboration of Wine and FEX? If I compiled Wine and FEX as pure Arm64 format, does it make sense? Thank you for any advice!

I don't know exactly what you're asking here.
If you build Wine as "pure arm64" then you can only execute arm64 Windows applications? No emulation in that case? So FEX is unnecessary.

Same with FEX's Wine support, it /needs/ to be wired up specifically for arm64ec or wow64, otherwise it can't integrate with wine? Building FEX as a "regular" arm64 Windows DLL doesn't really give anything...?
