Hi,
new on FreeTube, new on GitHub. I watch/listen YT daily (1-2h, no account, adblocker, a dozen browers taps...) and FT (v0.23.14 Beta) looks like a nice solution (MUUUCH appreciated!) to privatly subscribe and organise channels.
But I seem to get hammered with both these Local/Invidious API Errors (https://docs.freetubeapp.io/usage/common-issues/), e.g.:
-SyntaxError: Unexpected token '<', "<!DOCTYPE "... is not valid JSON
-Error: [UNPLAYABLE] Video unavailable
It makes the user experience quite bad.
Switched to the beta version to see if that would help. Not.
Doesn't appear to be my VPN (switched server, turned it off, nothing changes).
Prefered backend: local API
Invidious server: https://invidious.nerdvpn.de
I enabled 'Fetch feeds from RSS'
I have a Windows 11 Desktop and Laptop. Strangely the laptop app seems to work at times while the desktop one fails.
Any advice ? Just bad luck ? Can I switch back from the beta version if that would help?
As a side issue: the download button for videos disappears when errors occur ? Still making observations on that...
Anyway I seem to get a steep learning curve... Is there a way you could revert back to a YT browser window from inside of the FT app? Solution of last resort to maintain user functionality at all times.
Thanks for reading, Many thanks in advance for any help.
