Hi everyone!
I’ve been thinking about something:
is it possible to integrate a 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) scene representation for the environment background, and then use the physics engine only when actual interactions occur?
This could significantly speed up simulation when full physics isn’t needed for every frame.
What do you think? Has anyone explored this direction?
