Custom documentation doesn't support deploying from a monorepo

Currently customer documentation is only deployable from a git repo which has the endpoint name a root directory in the repo. This doesn't work with monorepos - it'd be great to allow pushing from arbitrary directories in a repository. Without this, users of monorepos have to create another repo and copy data to it and push.
