Leaving reccs and considerations for next year's TAs

For us Todos:

• Setup a doc with basic pi safety precautions for students
• Setup a doc with tipcs and tricks for next years TAs

For us Recommendations

• Do not change any content in older labs after students were instructed to pull changes. A few students lost their progress.

For next year Recommendations

• Randomly re-assign graders to groups between weeks to avoid unfair grading differences

For next years Pi Image Todos:

• Remove ssh key and github account information
• Print correct (wifi) mac address to screen
• Move all example scripts from pi in the repo
• Set a higher default vnc resolution

For next years Repo Todos:

• Move setup (ie.e pip install, apt get etc.) out of lab instructions so students can do it at home, and that if there are updates this does not conflict with students lab submissions
• Separate deliverables from instructions and preparation.
• Get rid of Developing-and-Designing-Interactive-Devices repo as these information are on canvas.

Ideas for next years lab

• In lab 4 or 5 make streaming video from pi to for processing video with opencv on a powerful computer a mandatory task (now briefly mentioned as optional: https://github.com/FAR-Lab/Interactive-Lab-Hub/tree/Fall2023/Lab%204#part-f-optional
• Lab 6 introduce node red for prototyping distributed interaction https://nodered.org/
• install node-red and mqtt broker into the pi image
