Autoloader loading new grid during collection

While collecting on a grid using smartscope, we changed the grids in the autoloader and left the collection grid on the column. During loading the collection was paused and the grids were loaded into the cassette without consideration of the previous grids placement. When we resumed the collection on smartscope it checked the autoloader position and loaded a new grid to continue the collection. Can there be a way to avoid this through updating the grids location or telling it to skip checking the autoloader when resuming a collection?

That's not a thing i considered before. I'll try to see how I can make it work.
