Describe the bug

I'm getting an OOM trying to use the $ SMS/MMS JSON special backup type.

Expected Behavior

It shouldn't OOM.

I assume NB is trying to load all SMS/MMS messages in to memory before writing them to the file. I have a lot of text message history, so that's probably not a feasible approach.
