ZIN guidelines for cost-effectiveness models in R #118

@nanxstats

Description

@nanxstats

The Netherlands Health Care Institute (ZIN) has published guidelines for building cost-effectiveness models in R.

This guideline was published December 15, 2022, provides standards for creating health economic models in R, and aims to improve transparency and reproducibility in HTA submissions.

This could be relevant for our working group. We might consider:

  1. Reviewing the guidelines for alignment with R best practices.
  2. Developing packages to facilitate compliance with these guidelines.
  3. Creating templates or example models that follow the standards.

Does anyone have experience with these guidelines or interest in building automated tools to support their implementation?
