Is it fine to use the debloater on canary versions? W11 26H2 #339

Does this debloater also work for canary versions of windows 11 or is it ill-recommended to use it for those versions? This is windows 26H2 by the way. I did search for a similar discussion and found #308 but that's for 25H2. I wanted to make extra sure that this version is also okay to run the debloater on. |

Heya, I haven't personally tested 26H2, but I see no reason for it cause any big issues. The biggest issue that you may see is that certain changes made by the script simply won't do anything, because the underlying Windows feature changed. A good recent example is the redesigned startmenu in W11 that's still rolling out. If you have this redesigned start menu then the option in the script to disable the recommended section won't work anymore, because the underlying Windows option was changed/removed. |
