I added support for Freenove board variant with 16MB flash (WROOM-1-N16R8) because I only have this type in hand. It seems there are different variants floating around.
Your board seems to have 8MB flash, though. Is your SOC module named with N8R8? Then it would be quite easy to add support for this variant as well. It only needs to be recompiled with 8MB flash support still having full firmware functionality. Either you recompile it yourself or you wait till beginning of next week then I can add support of 8MB variant as well if you are willing to test it.

I purchased the Freenove board that is linked from the main page from their store. It does appear that the official Freenove board uses the N8R8. I was able to recompile for 8MB and it loaded, I haven’t set it up to fully test it yet. If you do add it, I’m willing to to test it for others.

Its been running for about a week now. I get the occasional mis-reads, but it seems to correct itself after a few hours or after a reboot - I get this using an esp32-cam too. The signal strength seems to be about the same as the esp32-cam with external antenna.

Is there anything you would lie me to test?

To add your board variant it's sufficient to test only hardware related functions, because everything else is independent of hardware. If flashlight, GPIO section population (automatically derived from defined pin mapping which I assumed to be equal to my board), camera, SD card, WiFi is working than everything should be OK with your board variant.

The misreads are mostly related to camera configuration/setup, ROI setup or selected model. Optimize your image (avoid blur and reflections in the region of ROIs), setup the ROIs according the jomjol repo documentaiton and try different tflite model types. Sometimes one is working better than the other, depending on your meter style.
