Error: UNABLE_TO_GET_ISSUER_CERT_LOCALLY #465

Hello,
I cloned this repository and was trying to run npm install. However, I am getting an error saying error code UNABLE_TO_GET_ISSUER_CERT_LOCALLY. Can anyone help me out to resolve this issue ?
The operating system which I am using is Ubuntu-22.04 and I am using a virtual box.
