Best way to get answers to questions?

I've rolled out Anubis on my home server. Yesterday I made a monetary donation to the project on Github sponsors. I thought that would somehow give me an invitation to the #anubis discord channel, but I haven't received anything like that. Did I misunderstand that? If I did, should I be asking support related questions here on Github Discussions?
