I recently successfully installed Anubis v1.23.0 from the official tarball on a Linux environment and have been impressed with its functionality. However, our production infrastructure runs on Gentoo Linux, and I noticed there isn't an official Gentoo package or specific installation guidance for this distribution.
While Anubis provides a linux-amd64 binary build, I wanted to reach out to confirm:
Is the linux-amd64 binary expected to be fully compatible with Gentoo Linux systems?
Are there any known compatibility issues or specific considerations when running on Gentoo?
Do you have any plans to provide official Gentoo support, either through:
Official ebuilds in the Gentoo repository
Gentoo-specific installation documentation
Official overlay or third-party ebuild support
Having native Gentoo packaging would be incredibly valuable for our deployment and maintenance workflows. If there are any technical considerations we should be aware of when running the existing binary on Gentoo, I'd appreciate any guidance.
