Draco format not generated

Hello, thank you for the amazing work in this project

I had a question about draco, I tried running demo_scenegen.py, with an extra flag --export_drc (output path). When the progress finished the drc file isn't generated. I've followed the installation of draco, is there something that I missed about this ?

Flagging the same issue here; after successfully installing draco I was not able to generate any .drc files; is there a different flag that we need to set during world generation?

If anyone successfully got .drc files alongside their world generation files, please share here! I loaded one of the mesh ply files into unreal engine and it has 10 million polygon counts... We need the drc files

@hhwang123 I tried to import the .ply file to Unreal engine with Luma AI plugin and it failed. I also tried to open the .ply file with blender and it also failed. What is the pipeline you used to import the file in Unreal Engine?

I also have problem creating the draco file

"Draco export failed: expected str, bytes or os.PathLike object, not NoneType. May need confirm installation"

I imported the ply files into blender and then exported it out as glb files; this was the only way i could get the vertex colors embedded in the mesh and did not have to do exhaustive texturing work;

turns out draco is only about compression and wont decrease the high poly size and draw calls; im doing optimization pipelines on the mesh but we will see if it can run on standalone quest
