Interrupts are disabled for the RP2040 during show()

Given the rp2040 implementation is using PIO, is it still necessary to disable interrupts during show() for this architecture?

Having the same question. I think I have issues updating LEDs and receiving ble values because of the interrupts.
Sometimes the values I receive are read wrong, which does not happen with the same code on the Arduino Nano BLE and I suspect that the interrupts are the culprit.

Turned it off to test. Works good for me at a first glance and indeed the issues with BLE are gone 👍
No occasionally false value reads anymore!
