Protocol question

Do you happen to know if this is the same protocol as is used on the UART header for the optional WiFi module?

I've tried some commands so I assume not, since the response protocol on that port is very different, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask

@SNMetamorph I have! I've documented it all on https://github.com/hutchx86/jhs-ac-protocol :) There's also a custom Home Assistant Component, and settings for a hvac component. The protocol is decoded in the repo :)

@hutchx86 I very appreciate your contribution though :) Yesterday I found out about your protocol description and I decided to try to develop custom component for ESPHome which will support JHS AC units. I have minor success with it today, but it's still far from being somehow usable, but I will finish it someday.

@hutchx86 finally, I somehow finished ESPHome component for JHS ACs. Tested with my particular AC unit, and everything works solid.
