Requests for Ansible.IM matrix accounts

Our Matrix Homeserver uses token-based registration. If you would like an account, you will need a token from the community team. We use a vouch-based process at the moment, at least 2 of the community team need to agree to give out a token.

You can get in touch with the community team using either:

1. #community:ansible.com / #ansible-community by chat
2. ansible-community@redhat.com by email

However, if neither of these options is available to you, please leave a comment here and we will figure out how to get you sorted.

As detailed in our Matrix FAQ, we only offer ansible.im accounts to known contributors.

However! You don't need an ansible.im account to interact with the
community. Matrix is decentralised (much like email, or Mastodon) and so
any publicly available Matrix server will be able to join our rooms.
