Breaking Change on Sedona 1.8.0 Import SedonaRegistrator

Hello, I know that the SedonaRegistrator is deprecated since 1.4.1, but the latest release introduced a breaking change that was not cited in the Changelog.

the following import fails

from sedona.register.geo_registrator import SedonaRegistrator

Error:

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'sedona.register.geo_registrator'

I stumbled upon this too today. To get my code to work with different Sedona versions I had to:

try:
    # Sedona 1.7
    from sedona.register.geo_registrator import PackageImporter
except ImportError:
    # Sedona 1.8
    from sedona.spark.register.geo_registrator import PackageImporter

Hi all, thanks for reporting this. Martin's suggestion definitely works although I would recommend

from sedona.spark import *

sedona = SedonaContext.create(config)

@jiayuasu It's just that a breaking change was introduced and not expected on the release note, but thanks anyway.
I will let you close the issue, if it's irrelevant
