Copy improvement to prevent user confusion

The privacy statement in the following modal has been causing confusion for our users. We have received multiple feedback from members who were questioning this because they were using Visa/MasterCard for payment, not PayPal. Users are unclear that the app uses a separate SDK owned by PayPal for card payments, which is not linked to their PayPal account as a payment method.

Describe the solution you'd like.

Updating the copy to reflect Paypal as a company, not just a payment method, for clearer understanding like: "I agree to Braintree by PayPal privacy policy."

Any update on this?
We are still getting feedback in our app, such as "I want to pay with credit card but not PayPal," which comes from the fact that people get confused by this statement.

Here is another suggestion for statement replacement should you consider: "Your direct debit payments will be processed by Paypal Braintree, please click here to view the Paypal privacy statement"
