Hello everyone, and especially @soramanew
I am currently quite busy, but I want to leave this proposal here for when I have time to work on it. Until then, please share your opinions on this and if it's even viable.
I want to propose that features like the visualizer and the desktop clock (the latter never worked for me btw) could maybe be somehow separated from the wallpaper (
background) option itself. I am using my own custom utility for wallpapers (sort of like apples dynamic wallpapers) and I would be interested in the desktop clock, but I don't want to use the built in wallpaper setter. That would simply allow for overlays like the
visualizeranddesktop clock(so basically widgets, who know what's to come) to be rendered without having the built in wallpaper setter active. With that said, I have never looked at the code that makes up the
backgroundfunctionality and I don't even know if its a QS builtin or if it uses a utility likeswwwor similar under the hood. I will look into this once I am finished with the big project at work. As said, I would be happy for your opinions and input on this.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
