How do I make local changes to the shell when installed via AUR?

I installed caelestia-shell-git and caelestia-cli-git from the AUR, problem is idk how to make local changes now. Theres no ~/.config/quickshell/caelestia/ nor ~/.local/share/caelestia/. If i manually clone the repo into one of these paths will it work?

go to /etc/xdg/quickshell

ah i see, thanks. I just cloned the folder to ~/.config/quickshell/ and can easily make changes now
