http proxy settings for containerd

The cluster api provider for k8s has the 3 http proxy settings which get to the /etc/environment file:

Are those /etc/environment http proxy settings automatically inherited by snap.k8s.containerd and all the snap services?
The documentation here does not state anything about those: https://documentation.ubuntu.com/canonical-kubernetes/latest/snap/howto/networking/proxy/.

If not, can those http proxy settings be implemented also for the snap.k8s.* services?
