Inquiry about project roadmap and future direction

Hi,

Our web application has been relying on the Carbon Vue library, which has served us reliably to date. I came across #1587 and noticed that @davidnixon, the primary contributor over the past two years, appears to have moved on. With Carbon v10 now end-of-life and support for v11 still unclear, we're reassessing our long-term dependency strategy.

We’d appreciate any insights into the project’s current status or future direction. As we plan ahead, it’s important for us to understand how things are evolving so we can make informed decisions that align with our users’ needs.

Before David left, @guilherme-gm and I volunteered to be the new project maintainers. While we're currently not putting the hours we initially intended here (this is going to change), we're going to support it and work on the project's move to carbon v11. We see the webcomponent as the future here, but, right now, we're also considering a final manual effort to delivery the migration 'right away' and then work on the webcomponent idea.

As always, help and suggestions are much appreciated. We'll keep the webcomponent thread with what we stick to for the migration

Also, I'll point out that there is a Carbon 11 for Vue with Carbon Web Components. It might meet your needs.
