bitcoin-core/secp256k1#1479 is merged last week. I think this work will take some time and refactoring before getting merged into rust-bitcoin. Also, it could take some another time to be ready for a release. I suggest holding this issue for some time.

We can start using musig2 with the following rust-secp256k1 fork:
