Hmm—haven't seen this before! We are currently counting on Shopify to send an array of tags.

Should be an easy fix. In the interim, do you mind running a query like this on the CLI?

php craft shopify/api/query 'query { products(first: 10) { edges { node { id title tags } } } }'

(If you know which product is failing, you can instead call product("gid://shopify/Product/123456789") { ... } so you're not having to page through results.)

I don't need the full response; just curious whether they’re actually returning null for a value that the docs explicitly state is “non-null.” 🙃

As @AugustMiller mentioned this is a bit of a strange one because tags should never return null.

Along with the GraphQL query he mentioned could you send the full stack trace? This will give us an idea of whether the issue is coming from syncing the products from Shopify or if it retrieving the product element from the DB.

I have pushed up a fix for both versions 6 and 7 as a precautionary measure (even though they shouldn't be needed). These fixes will be out in releases shortly.

Hello the same happens to me when i try to reset the data. I just updated to the version 7.0.1

/app $ php craft shopify/data/reset
Resetting Shopify plugin data will permanently delete all:

products
variants
sync history
from Craft. (Data in Shopify will not be affected.)

Do you wish to continue? (yes|no) [no]:yes

I have just tried this on 7.0.1 and 6.1.4 and both times got the following:

php craft shopify/data/reset

When resetting we get the same problem :
