s905x4 4GB 1Gb LAN

I have a box with s905x4 4GB Ram and 1Gb LAN, the boot was successful, but Ethernet and Wi-Fi did not work. I did some searche and I found suggestions to extract the .dtb file from the Android IMG file and copy it to the boot portion, then I did the following:

• I extracted the .dtb.
• copied .dtb file to (boot) partition to the path: amlogic/dtb-6.12.41-meson64/
• Then I modified (box-s905x4_generic_gigabit.config) to point to the new .dtb file, .
  but the device was unable to boot, what is my mistake here

The Android DTB is only useful for the kernel that comes with you Android image, a vendor kernel, probably version 4.9 or 5.4. That will never work on a much newer mainline kernel. So an Android DTB is only useful if you know how to translate them to a mainline kernel DTB (which is partially impossible and at least not straight forward)

So maybe I can help if you tell me what box you have, what you already tried to do, have some pictures of the board. Wifi, however, will almost never work, especially the newer boxes that often come with an Amlogic w155Sx wifi module.

So I guess a Mecool KM6? Ethernet gigabit PHY is a Maxio one (can''t read the markings fom the picture), which AFAIK has no mainline driver... There does exist a driver for older kernels (CoreElec has one), so maybe you could try to compile a module from that.

Wifi is probably based on Broadcom BCM43752, so you only need to install the firmware for that. Firmware can be found here: https://github.com/LibreELEC/brcmfmac_sdio-firmware
