Massive memory leak? #360

Description

@saepurusass

I started using dissent just about a week ago or so and I have noticed very noticeable constant memory usage increase.
Not sure if related to #143

I have only 2 servers on my account.
I have only one channel open all day long. I am not really active on it. Rarely send messages, just read from time to time.

Memory usage goes really quick really high.
The latest uptime for dissent was about 1.5 days or so. Memory usage went from around 280MB-ish at startup to 2.6GB-ish when I closed it.

I have attached monitoring charts that show very noticeable memory usage drops when closing dissent.
Also top screenshots from the latest closing before and after that show dissent memory usage.

Running version: git (492cf33) (dirty)
md5sum: 72d08c83b725e37cfcc7b9fee3c9a42a
It is the latest release from the github page

Running it on Devuan excalibur, amd64 platform, X11, KDE desktop.

Memory usage before restart (8.3% of 32GB is about 2.6GB)

Memory usage after restart (0.9% of 32GB is about 280MB)

Latest daily memory usage chart from munin, there is the 2.6GB-ish drop in the end when closing dissent

Weekly memory usage chart from munin, all the big drops included closing dissent too

If your usage pattern is to use it for couple of hours, then shutdown your computer and repeat, it's probably not very big issue.
But any prolonged usage is very problematic.
I have my work machine running 24/7 for sometimes months and I usually try to not close messaging apps. Everything else seems to behave, except dissent.
