Postgres_Query - accept bind parameter ?

I followed instructions here : https://duckdb.org/docs/stable/core_extensions/postgres

So this works

with v (decimal_value, float_value) as ( select 1.125::decimal, 1.125::double )
select round_even(decimal_value,2) as duck_round_even, pg_round, version() as DuckDB_ver, Postgres_ver
from v
cross join postgres_query('postgres_db', 'SELECT version() as Postgres_ver, round(1.125,2) as pg_round') 

duck_round_even|pg_round|DuckDB_ver|postgres_ver                                                           |
---------------+--------+----------+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
           1.12|    1.13|v1.3.2    |PostgreSQL 17.2 on x86_64-windows, compiled by msvc-19.42.34435, 64-bit|

I want to pass v.decimal_value ( either cross join or lateral or any syntax )
Unclear whether postgres_query accepts this - or is there an easier way ?

SQL Error: Binder Error: Failed to prepare query "SELECT version() as Postgres_ver, round(v.decimal_value) as pg_round": ERROR:  missing FROM-clause entry for table "v"
