Symbolic links created by easybuild MNS are slowing down the module loading

We have installed a lot of software modules using easybuild and loading of the modules is taking a lot of time, and in general basic filesystem ops have become slower. I suspect it is due to the symlinks that are created in the process, I am considering reinstalling using CategoricalHMNS, or HierachicalMNS, my question would be did anyone else experience such an issue ?

Maybe you're adding the wrong path to $MODULEPATH?

The intention is that you either include <prefix>/modules/all or the different paths that correspond to the module classes, not both...

The module paths are /modules/compiler etc, all is not included. But we have architecture wise module environments, ex. genoa, rome, ampere, hopper etc, and load one of them to see the easybuild modules.
