"Invalid bearer token" - can't sign in at all [Windows]

My problem is similar to this user: #186 - except that, following the suggested steps, either installing v2.0.55 or adding hasCompletedOnboarding = true, I'm still unable to login.

It seems like the 'invalid bearer token' has been a problem for many of us trying to use copilot-api. How do we finish it once and for all?

Is there anything that works at all?

Is there anything that works? I've tried opencode and come up against the same problems. Can't run it on claude, can't run it on opencode. I've just no idea what to do now.

why? Why do you need to log in if you have set hasCompletedOnboarding = true?

I don't want to log in, but claude is forcing me to, and clearly there's no actual way to do it without being asked to log in.

Using hasCompletedOnboarding = true works in the version 2.1.34 I am using. Which versions are you using?
