XML exporting

hi man,

I'm not being able to render with cycles standalone. The xml files generated by the exporter are quite different from the examples that comes with cycles standalone source code.

My xml files only generate some black pngs, but the examples render correctly.

So, do I have to set some option on blender to export properly or do I need to set any flag on the command line cycles standalone?

Hi fjalex, I know it has been quite a while since your post but I spent some time this morning exporting some base samples to try out.

There are some unknown warnings from what I have seen so far but the main issue is that cycles and /cycles tags are missing from the top and bottom of the exported XML file. Once you add the tags you will see that Cycles will in fact render an output.
