Do you agree to open source all work you do on behalf of this RFP under the MIT/Apache-2 dual-license?: Yes.

1. What is your project and what problem does it solve? (max 100 words)

Kradle is a "slow tech" platform designed to combat algorithm-driven noise and AI-filler. It provides a mindful space for creators to collaborate, reflect, and co-create lasting knowledge artifacts called "Insights." Instead of endless scrolling, Kradle focuses on nurturing ideas from a "spark" to a community-vetted "Insight," which is then stored in a permanent Knowledge Library. It’s an alternative to social media, prioritizing privacy, focus, and community ownership, allowing meaningful content to thrive.

2. How is Filecoin used in this project?

Filecoin will be the core storage layer for Kradle's "Knowledge Library." Every "Insight"—the final, community-crafted, canonical piece of knowledge—will be stored on Filecoin (via IPFS) to ensure it is a persistent and content-addressed asset.
This aligns with our principle of creating "lasting artifacts" owned by the community, not a central server. The "NFT-like tokens" representing fractional ownership of these Insights will reference the content's CID on the IPFS/Filecoin network.
How this project grows on-chain activity on Filecoin: This project will directly grow on-chain activity by creating a new, sustainable source of demand for long-term storage. As communities create more high-value "Insights," the Kradle platform will programmatically store these digital assets on Filecoin, ensuring their permanence and verifiability.

3. How will you improve your project with this grant? What steps will you take to meet this objective?

This grant will fund the initial integration of decentralized technologies into our polished MVP, moving us closer to our vision of progressive decentralization. We will focus on building the foundational storage and identity layers.

Number Grant Deliverable Briefly describe how you will meet deliverable objectives Timeframe (within 3 months)
1. Decentralized Identity Integration Integrate non-custodial wallet sign-in (e.g., SIWE) as a primary option, establishing the foundation for sovereign identity. 4 weeks
2. IPFS/Filecoin Storage Pipeline Develop the "Weave" function to commit the final "Insight" artifact to IPFS and establish a pipeline for persistent storage on the Filecoin network. 8 weeks
3. Knowledge Library MVP Build the searchable "Knowledge Library" front-end that retrieves Insight metadata and content directly from IPFS/Filecoin using CIDs. 10 weeks
4. Fractional Ownership PoC Develop and test a proof-of-concept smart contract for representing "Insights" as NFT-like tokens, linking to the Filecoin-stored artifact. 12 weeks

4. What is the total amount of this grant request?

$10,000

5. Adoption, Reach, and Growth Strategies

Target Audience: Our target audience is creators, writers, researchers, and thinkers who are frustrated with the ephemeral, algorithm-driven nature of current social media ("the endless abyss"). We are targeting people who feel their "ideas get lost in digital noise" and who value privacy and mindful collaboration.
Engagement: We are currently engaging this audience via our blog and community channels (like Matrix), inviting them to request early access.
Onboarding Strategy:
First 10 users: We will personally onboard our first 10 users from our existing Matrix community and early access waitlist. These will be high-signal creators dedicated to testing the "Spark" -> "Contribute" -> "Weave" workflow.
First 100 users: We will expand the invite-only beta, encouraging users to form small, private groups to co-create the first "Insights." We will use their feedback to refine the community moderation and co-creation mechanics before a wider public launch.

6. If accepted, do you agree to share monthly project updates in this Github Issue until the project described here is complete?

Yes.

7. Does your proposal comply with our Community Code of Conduct?

Yes.

8. Links and submissions

N/A
