Should examples provide a way to swap out the hardcoded timestamp for a recent one?

In Snuba, we run all example messages from this repo against the processing functions in CI to ensure the message can be processed successfully. Since we only accept "recent" events, older events would fail processing.. Should we consider swapping out any hardcoded timestamps for the current time when returning the examples?
