Compiler / Vite Plugin

I think a npm module really works out if surreal uses a compiler based approach i.e replacing the sugar with vanilla code on build, maybe a vite plugin would be suitable.
I know this project is not aligned with build steps, but such a situation leads to runtime overhead. It's nice to have more options than skew towards one.
