Alpine enumeration stop at version release commit/tag #995

@another-rex

Description

@another-rex

Each alpine release has a git tag associated with it on the release commit. This can be used to determine when to stop version enumeration for a particular release branch.

Alpine has release candidates and then the final release. I believe version enumeration should stop at the official release, instead of the release candidates, as those are accepted as still in testing phase, and will bloat the number of affected versions while providing minimum value.
