Adding mods without dependencies #473
-
|
Is there a way to add/upgrade a mod but to NOT download the mods dependencies? I could have sworn this used to be a thing in older builds. It was like ./ferium add 123456 --dont-add-dependencies. Some mods have the wrong dependencies or dependencies that have preferred alternatives. Mods like Accessories with Trinkets compatibility layer. You don't want to download the trinkets mod as a dependency in this case. |

Yeah ferium did previously automatically add dependencies, but I didn't like a few things about it;
So a few updates ago, I removed the functionality and the associated command line arguments, as the implementation was getting problematic to maintain too. I have now implemented #214 and #99, but I haven't released the new version yet.
#127 (hopefully also coming in this update) is going to resolve this issue as well. |
