[Bug]: Tests not passing properly when data exists in Supabase #74

Task
Tests aren't passing properly somehow when there is data in the Supabase! They only pass if Supabase is cleared out which is odd. Fix it!
Acceptance Criteria
- Tests pass regardless of the Supabase state (make sure you test with data and without data in the database)
