Provide a brief description of the project
The purpose of this project is to allow for quick check-in for hackathons via a hacker scanning their mango QR code.
Describe the work that has already been done on the project
No work has been done on the project in particular, but mango will be updated in order to provide a user with their QR code, and peach will also be updated to allow for user check-in via the user's QR code.
Describe what the project, and hackFIU stand to gain from this new project
I believe this is a good project for hackFIU as it will provide yet another nice service for smoothie's hackathon registration suite, and it will provide some diversity in terms of the technologies we use here at hackFIU. Students will be able to experiment with Swift, and perhaps in the future, Kotlin for an Android implementation.
