[...] it would be cool to have a view that displays the complete set of "point features" on a line in an unique view, since I was also thinking of a way of tagging different electrical components like axel-counters and others, so showing such things as they appear in real life could be interesting.

Currently the signal features have a hard split between the speed signals, the electricity signals and all other signals.
