pandoc docx to latex fails

Hi all,
When trying to convert a docx document to latex it fails and gives the error below. Any ideas how to fix it? Thanks

You have -f and -t reversed, so you're asking pandoc to convert from LaTeX to docx. It has trouble parsing the docx file as LaTeX.
